GreenBanner18- This year we should score a little more. We have more scorers on the bench that should spread how much we put on the board out through the entire game. Last year we did not have the dominant defense we were used to having. This year it returns, with additions. I can't see our defense being as big of a force as it was 2 years ago, but it could be real close. Don't be surprised if this amount I projected is way to high. The 3PT% should go down from last year. I can't see Eddie House having as high of precision as he did last year. Last year he was insane. I wouldn't mind seeing it, but I don't expect it. All around we will see more threes as Sheed will get alot of minutes and shoot the deep balls much more than any big we put out there last year. Obviously we will rebound more than last year with KG back in every game and more length off the bench. Lastly we should plan on seeing a Tech a game. Kidding. We will almost definitely see more than last year, but I dont plan on it being anything erratic. The players know there is a limit to their intensity. They know when to slow down because they are going to get close to the suspension mark.
BPaul- I think that with the addition of Rasheed and Marquis to the bench, our points per game will increase from last year. Our starters will put up around the same numbers as last year, but the scoring on the bench will boost the average. Last year we allowed 93.4 points a game, this was without KG playing almost half the season. With a healthy KG and the addition of Sheed our points allowed should go down. I think that the three point percentage will increase this year. I think that Pierce will have a better year shooting wise, and that Rondo's offseason work will help make him a better three point shooter. Ray will probably be around the same as last year, and Eddie's numbers may decline slightly from his record breaking season. The free throw percentage should improve because we will be more of a perimeter team and will not be at the line as much. The rebounds per game will also increase this year, Perk will be bigger and stronger, KG is returning, and Sheed will pull down quite a few boards himself. This year's teams may end up being one of the most hated trash talking teams in NBA history. We have Perk, KG, Sheed, and Rondo, all players that have been known to be very aggresive and intense at times. This combination will result in many more techs then last year. Hopefully other aspects of our game will make up for it.
