Ok, We have been slacking a little bit lately when it comes to putting up NBA season previews. I still feel obligated to put them up since it is part of the NBA preview tour, organized by Jeff Clark at CelticsBlog. So today we are going to give you three NBA previews all in one post. WOW. Now thats some bang for you buck. There are three teams that we need to catch up on today. Those teams are the Memphis Grizzlies, New Orleans Hornets and San Antonio Spurs.

 Memphis Grizzlies

- The Grizzlies were a pretty busy team during the offseason. Their biggst move may be signing Allen Iverson. They also added quality big men in Zach Randolph and Hasheem Thabeet. The Griz also picked up a versatile forward in Sam Young in the draft.

-The Grizzlies team is full of talent now. They have talent in Rudy Gay, OJ Mayo, Zach Randolph, and AI. All of these guys are capable of putting up 30 points in any game.

- The problem for this team is that they are very young and unexperienced. Iverson at 34, and Randolph at 28 are the teams oldest players. The talent is there but can they put it all together?

-The goal for this team is to win a good quanity of there games, maybe a little below .500 would be a success for this year.

- One big question for the team is: How is the teams chemistry going to be? There are alot of scorers on the team that are going to have to accept a smaller role for the team to be succesful. AI may also have to accept the role of coming off the bench and backing up Mike Conley.

New Orleans Hornets

- During the offseason the Hornets added a few key players to the team, but also lost some key players. The key losses include: Tyson Chandler and Rasual Butler. They added: Emeka Okafor, Darren Collison, and Morris Peterson.

- The Hornets will be very strong at the Point Guard position. They have the best point guard in the league in my opinon, Chris Paul, and they added Darren Collison to fill the back up role.

- The teams weeknesses will include the lack of offensive rebounding and the lack of that third creative scorer.

- The team's goal for the year is to make the playoffs, and win a first round playoff series. -- This goal is all dependent on the play of their new additons.

 San Antonio Spurs

- The Spurs added a great scorer in Richard Jefferson during the offseason. They also picked up Dejuan Blair, possibly the best deal in the draft.

- The Spurs should be a very strong team offensively. With Parker, Ginobili, Jefferson, and Duncan you are sure they will put points on the board.

- The weakness for this team may be intangibles, such as age and health. The health of Manu Ginobilii may be the key to their season.

- The goal for this team has to be making the NBA Finals, they have been there before and know how to get the job done.
