Pierce Shines as C's Top Nets

Posted by GreenBanner18 on October 11, 2009 at 9:10 PM

Paul Pierce dropped 25 points in the game vs. the Nets today. He went 8-12 from the field and 7-8 from the free throw line. This is byfar his most dominant game of the preseason.

As we were not able to watch the game, we can still answer some of the questions of what to look for by looking at the box score.

Does KG get even more increased minutes?

No. He got 21 minutes the other night and 21 today. I don't think this is a bad thing, I just think he should be worked up to around 33 or so by the time the regular season starts.

Is today the day Rajon Rondo asserts himself more on the offensive end?

Not as dominant as we would like. Having scored 8 points and only having 3 assists with 4 turnovers is not the best performance. That is average and I'm looking for that triple-double pace performances.

Will Scal begin to see more minutes after his effort vs. the Knicks?

Nope. He got 17 minutes last game and only 7 today. His only contribution today was one shot that he missed.
