About a week ago, that point guard who came in to play for the Celtics late last year had some words for The Truth. What were those words, anyway?
Paul Pierce did exactly the right thing in not even recognizing the comment. He could have gotten into a war of words, but instead decided to let it fade into the background. Now here I am bringing it up, right? Maybe, but thats not my point. My point is that Pierce isn't a head case and knows where he is going this year. He has a goal for this year and the words of a wannabe are not going to steer him the wrong way.
I was hoping that would be what he would do. All that off the court (or field of play) crap you see throughout professional sports leads to nothing good. Very unselfish by Paul Pierce.
