Where's Big Baby?

By now we have all heard the story about Glen "Big Baby" Davis getting into a late-night alltercation with a friend from LSU. This resulted in Big Baby breaking his thumb and having to have surgery. He has now been out a week and plans to be out another five to seven weeks. My question in this situation is why isn't Big Baby on the bench cheering on his team? Last year when KG went down we saw him every night in suit and tie, yelling, screaming, and sweating like he was on the court. We have not seen Glen at all since the injury to his THUMB, its not like he cant walk and is bed ridden, so why isn't he atleast at the home game?

I guess I really don't know the complete circumstances because I do not have the power to find that information out, but in my mind there is no good reason for him to be missing these games. More than likely he is out partying with the same friends that he got in trouble with, while his team is working hard night in and night out.

Following the injury there was a lot of talk about the team, the coaches, and the organazation being very upset about Glen's actions. Espically after they just signed him to a new deal hoping he had grown up. The owner of the Celtics Wyc Grousbeck was very unhappy with the situation, courtesy of Boston Herald:

"I’m not going to call him Big Baby anymore. He’s Glen. He needs to act like Glen and we’ll decide what to do once I talk to him."

Maybe Big Baby is embarassed to show his face to the team and organazation. I'm sure if I got into an altercation that resulted in a six week absence from my team, I would be embarassed too. In my mind though he should be at the games earning back the team and organization's respect. He should be on the sideline motivating his team and watching how Doc Rivers wants his team to play.

What is he accomplishing by sitting on his couch eating potato chips? The answer is a lot less than he would be if he was on the sideline. Maybe I am overreacting to such a simple thing, but  in my eyes GLEN has a lot of respect to gain back from his teammates, fans, coaches, and the entire Celtics organazation. One way he can gain this back is by getting his @$$ on the bench and supporting our army of green soldiers as they march towards Banner 18!!!!

Let me know if you think im overreacting or if you know a reason why he hasn't been on the bench, I'm very interested in hearing more about this situation.
