Today the Boston Celtics will head to MSG to take on the 3-9 Knicks. The Celtics will be looking to get back on track after a devastating loss to the Orlando Magic on Friday. The Knicks are a team that always give us fits on the road, but lets hope the Celtics can get all of their problems figured out in this game as the Knicks play very little defense, and shoot a lot of threes- something we have been struggling with defending.

What to watch for:

  • Perkins vs. David Lee. Lee is their primary low post weapon and if Perkins can keep him in check, we will see ALOT of jumpers from the Knicks.
  • Rajon Rondo manning and taking head of the offense. When he is a leader and directs traffic, the offense does great things.
  • Rasheed Wallace to pick up on his 3p game. He has been awful from deep lately, and it can't stay that way for too long- he is too good of a shooter.
  • How well do the Knicks shoot from deep? Hold them under 35%. Celtics need to do a better job at disrupting these shots instead of allowing wide open looks.
  • As the game progresses do we see a new hop in the step of the Celtics? When they start playing good, the team gets a new look- much more confident than they look now.
