Ginos Starting Five Weekend Edition

Posted by Nubz on November 29, 2009 at 12:01 AM

We have a weekend edition of Starting Five for you guys so put your seat belt on and hope Jimmie Johnson isn't driving because if he was..... let's just get on with the links shall we?

Point Guard - North Station - Ray Allen Update: Met Team In Miami, Expected To Play Sunday

"This is good news for the Celtics and most importantly for Walker Allen. I am sure, if it were serious, Ray would not have left his side. Our prayers remain with you and your family Ray! Get well soon Walker!"

Good to hear Walker is doing well. He needs to be in good shape for when the C's want to pick him up, in a few years of course. Thanks Nick for keeping us updated. I had no idea he was in the hospital.

Shooting Guard - Loys Place - Walker Sees Action With Redclaws

"Their next game is tonight Sat, Nov 28 at Dakota at 8:00 PM ET. Since the Celtics aren't playing tonight, you can catch the game on NBA Futurecast. "

The future of the NBA is in Portland, Maine for the first time in history and we are already 1-1. Bill Walker from the C's got sent down to D-Leauge to play and he's causing a tidal wave. Look for him to play like this all the time!!

Small Forward - Celtics Blog - Lebron To Celtics??

Another Fan Post coming from Celtics Blog. I would NOT want James anywhere near Boston. I don't like his attitude and he wouldn't fit in at all. He has this thing where he runs the show or no one does. We have just enough talent in Boston, and they can play together. Bring Lebron in and say goodbye to Banner 18!

Power Forward - Celtics Blog - Balanced Attack leads Celtics Victory Over The Raptors

"The Boston Celtics shot a whopping 67.6% in the first half of Friday night's game against the Toronto Raptors."

What a game. I didn't get to watch but boy did I listen and the whole game was intense until late 4th. One minute it I was jumping up and down, the other I was curled up in a ball. (Seriously, I was having stomach pains.) Here's a recap of the game!

Center - Celtics Town - Behind Enemy Lines - Aparrently, The Raptors Need To Grow A Pair

"After every game, we give some analysis from the opposing team, or Behind Enemy Lines, if you will. While Celtics homerism is certainly the way to go, there IS ACTUALLY another side to the story. Here is some analysis of the Celtics 116-103 victory over the Raptors, from the Raptors blog Raptors Republic. "

Wow. Bloggers from Raptors Republic really know how to cover themselves.... NOT. Thanks Celtics Town for this very amusing enemy post.

Have a Wonderful Day Everybody!!
