Gino's Jungle

If you had not heard, or if you forgot, the guys here at Gino's Jungle are now writing and maintaining the site Hardwood Houdini, FanSided.com's Boston Celtics blog. Since taking over Hardwood Houdini, Travis and I have had to work very hard at making sure both sites have quality material for our readers. We came to the conclusion that we needed some more quality writers to make sure the site continues to grow. 

A couple weeks ago we sent out a tweet on Twitter advertising for new writers. Within a few hours we got a reply from Dirk van Boxtel. Dirk reaized that Gino's Jungle is a growing site, and being an aspiring writer, and diehard Boston Celtics fan, he knew this was his opportunity.

Here is a little information about Dirk:

Straight from the Netherlands comes Dirk van Boxtel. Being unable to play basketball until well into his twenties, this guy has had a go at several other sports. The Celtics crawled into his blood as soon as he was able to follow them on cable TV a few seasons ago and he has been bleeding green ever since. When he's not bleeding green, he's playing basketball for his basketball club in the city of Enschede called Amical. To be able to pay for his bills, he had to pick up a job as a web designer a few years ago, and has developed into a User interface designer / graphic design consultant for on of the biggest web development companies in the region.

We are very glad to have Dirk join our team at Gino's Jungle and hope you look forward to reading all of his work. Also, if you have noticed our new banner, Dirk designed that and helped us get that up on our site as well. Big thanks to him for doing that for us. So without further ado please give a warm welcome to the newest member of The Jungle, Dirk van Boxtel.
