Welcome to the Jungle - Graham Brunell

Posted by GinosJungle on December 9, 2009 at 8:40 PM

The GJ writing staff is continuing to grow. Today we are proud to welcome Graham Brunell as the newest addition to "The Jungle". If you are a reader of the Boston Celtics blog Celtics 17 then I'm sure you know Graham Brunell. Graham has been running the well known Celtics site since November, but has been with the soon closing MVN blogging network for a while now. Graham is an aspiring writer and is an already well known writer at the age of 14. But please, don't let his age fool you, this kid can write. I hope that the readers enjoy Graham's work as well as I have over the past couple months since joining the blogging world. We did a quick question and answer session with Graham to let our readers get to know him a little bit more:

Gino: How long have you been a Celtics fan, and how did it all start?

Graham: I've basically been a Celtics since I found out what and who the Celtics were. It all started with my dad, who showered me with Celts history.

Gino: Who is your favorite Celtic of all time, and your best memory of this player?

Graham: My favorite Celtics player has to be Paul Pierce. My all-time memory of Pierce was when Boston was playing the Wizards (in one of their poor years) and Pierce scrambled to the corner to launch an improbable three. Boston won at the buzzer.

Gino: Why did you decide to join the GJ writing staff, and what do you think you will be able to bring to "The Jungle"?

Graham: I joined the GJ staff because I wanted to build a name for myself; I wanted to be seen as a guy with journalistic integrity, not just some blogger. I think I can bring a fresh, unbiased opinion to The Jungle, as well as revel in the greatest fans in the world (C's fans).

Please make sure to welcome Graham to "The Jungle"  in his first post "Strut and Saunter: How Much Swagger Does Boston Need?". You can also check out Grahams own Boston Celtics blog at www.mvn.com/celtics17 Make sure to check back the Jungle often to see what Graham and the rest of the GJ writing staff is up to.
