Have you ever wondered what life in the D-League may be like? Have you wondered what is going through the minds of these guys who are only one step of way from making the big league? Well thanks to HoopsWorld.com you are now able to get an insiders perspective from Red Claws guard Maurice Ager.
Here is a little blurb about Maurice's career courtesty of HoopsWorld:
Maurice Ager is a 26-year old professional basketball player who spent the last three years in the NBA with the Dallas Mavericks, Orlando Magic and New Jersey Nets, most recently playing on the Orlando Magic's summer league team. Like many NBA players have done as of late, Ager chose to play abroad, in Seville, Spain with the ACB League team Cajasol and recently returned to the United States to play for the Maine Redclaws in the NBA-D League. Ager has teamed with HOOPSWORLD to give you an inside look at his experiences playing in Europe and now in the D-League.
This type of thing is similar to what Paul Pierce did earlier this year when he teamed up with Julian Benbow of the Boston Globe to deliver first hand insights to Celtics fans. In Maruice's most recent blog he talks about life in Portland, his faith, and his hopes to one day return to the NBA. You can view that blog here.
