Kevin Garnett #5 Of The Boston Celtics Reacts To A Call While Playing Against The Miami Heat In Game One Of The

Via Chris Forsberg on Twitter: Kevin Garnett suspended one game. Quentin Richardson fined $25,000.

What does this mean for the C's? Well I hope it means that Glen Davis is going to get the start. After what we saw from him last night I think he deserves it. BUT, if everything plays out like it has all year, then Doc will start Sheed, unfortunately. If Sheed does get the start, then all I can hope for is that Baby will come in the game early, and show that he deserves playing time to take over "starter like" minutes in place of Sheed.

Searching for a positive? This is extra time off for Garnett to rest himself for later rounds. That is 6 full days of rest from game action that KG will get. The Celtics can very easily beat the Heat without The Big Ticket, so if they did it would be the ultimate prize. Not only would the guy who needs the rest the most get it, but they can find themselves in the same position as if he WERE to play. Time will tell, but it could turn out to be a very good thing..
