There really weren't a lot of Celtics fan in the crowd at the Quicken Loans Arena last night for game two between the C's and the Cavs but Danny Ainge took it upon himself to represent us well. With 1:53 remaining in the third quarter Ainge stood up and threw a towel in the air in an attempt to distract Cavs big man J.J Hickson, who was at the line shooting to free throws. I'm sure the haters will come out and bash Danny but it's nice to see that he's doing whatever he can to help his team win.
Here is the video (via MrTripleDouble):
Maybe Danny is trying to get a point across here. Everyone at the Garden Friday night should recieve towels and throw them in the air everytime a Cavs player is at the line. That would be something no crowd has ever done before.
