So far this postseason Marquis Daniels hasn't really received much playing time. He was used occasionally against Cleveland to guard LeBron when Pierce and the Allen's were in foul trouble, but outside of that he's pretty much been sitting on the bench waiting for his calling. Although Marquis didn't see any action in last night's game in Orlando reports say that his farther, Willie Lorenzo Buie, had some action of his own.
The father of a Boston Celtics player is shot with a Taser gun and arrested at Tuesday night's Game 2 of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals at the Amway Arena in Orlando, according to police.
According to an arrest report, Buie was being escorted out of the arena by security when he began tensing up and resisting. When another officer tried to help escort Buie out, Buie said, "I'm not going. (Expletive) you!" the arrest report said.
Several officers tried to restrain Buie, but the arrest report said he kept resisting, so he was shot with a Taser gun.
All I'm left wondering is why the hell he was being escorted in the first place. Maybe someone was harassing him about his son getting now playing time? I don't know, and really I guess I don't care. Life goes on, the season goes on, and we are six wins away from banner eighteen!
