When you're the Celtics it's good to be underdogs

In 2008 the Boston Celtics were clear underdogs and they ended up winning the NBA championship. This year they have been even more of underdogs. In their semi-finals matchup against Cleveland not one "expert" picked the Celtics to win the series. In the Eastern Conference Finals only two of ESPN's "experts" were converted and picked the Celtics. Now it's NBA Finals time and the Celtics are once again underdogs against the Lakers.

This time around the Celtics play has helped to convert two of the experts onto the good side, but six still remain on the enemies side. Both Legler and Broussard picked the Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals and carried their confidence in the C's over into the Finals. Adande and Sheridan on the other hand are jumping onto the bandwagon at the last moment. These four gentlemen have earned my respect and in the end I will congratulate each one of them when their predictions prove to be right.

Like I said before, I love it when this team is the under dog. There really isn't anything more appealing then looking at these "expert" picks after the Celtics win the NBA championship. Oh and one last thing, John Hollinger's predictions are worth as much as curdled milk.
